Let's Talk Fantasies Part 1 | Phoenix, Arizona Boudoir Photographer
75th and Yeadon is where you explore your sexuality on your own terms.
I am currently reading My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday. This book is a compilation and exploration of women’s sexual fantasies and it is literally the best thing that has ever been created. Why? Because it was an avenue in which the women in the late 1960s and 1970s were able to not only describe their sexual fantasies but also embrace them. Now, some of the fantasies are very reflective of their time and serve to remind me that a majority of these fantasies are from a cis-white heteronormative view BUT it is definitely a very important piece of work in terms of sexual liberation.
Now...what does this have to do with 75th and Yeadon?
It has EVERYTHING to do with 75th and Yeadon. This shit is right up our alley. Our sole purpose is to give people the space to write and live out their own stories. Our purpose is to give people the avenue to express themselves freely as sexual humans and to not shame them for any way that they choose to express it.
I want you to look at your photos and feel a surge of energy. I want you to get all the feel good hormones you need in order to remind yourself what a masterpiece you are.
Fantasies, whether you pursue them or not, are nothing to be ashamed of. I want to give you a moment in time where you are living out your fantasies freely. In fact, my biggest wish for you is that you always connect with people who encourage you to explore them.
If you are a little bit more curious about fantasies and why they are so important in sexual liberation and in communication, I suggest you read My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday. You can find it at your local bookstore or you can shop it through Bookshop, an online retailer that supports independent bookstores.
Otherwise, enjoy this photoshoot in collaboration with Do More Photographers and Taylor Oaks Productions!
PSSST!!! Make sure to come back next week for more from this collaboration… you don’t want to miss it!
